    We review the photos and reply with a clear written estimate. If anything can’t be judged from a photo, we’ll say so up front — and for big jobs we may suggest a quick visit to confirm before work starts.

What to photograph

  • One wide shot of each wall — stand back so the whole wall fits in the frame.

  • The ceiling too — if it’s part of the job.

  • Close-ups of any damage — peeling, cracks, stains, or water marks.

  • Doors, trim & windows — anything that needs painting around or extra prep.

  • For exteriors, each side of the building — plus close-ups of peeling or bare wood.

  • Something for scale — a door in frame or a rough room measurement in your notes helps a lot.

Quick photo tips: shoot in daylight or with the lights on, wipe the lens, and hold the phone sideways for wide rooms. Blurry photos are the main reason an estimate needs a second look.
